DELIVERY MANAGEMENT
FoodManagementSystems.Com
has integrated hardware and software to provide you
with the technology you have been looking for. A solution that
enables you to deliver better customer service and automate delivery
records.
Using Bar-Code technology we have developed a system
that will enable you to accurately track stock, reduce wastage and
provide you with batch traceability - All at a price you can afford.
The system is easy to operate and comprehensive, yet
does not require any specialist training. The system uses touch
screen technology, is robust, accurate and functional. It may be used
in conjunction with our other software products, welded to your
existing systems or used in isolation.
The reporting facility provides you with management
information relating to the performance of particular
sites/products. You convey a professional and efficient image to
your customers. Your operatives are more accurate in their work, and
the margins for error are reduced.
The end of day reconciliations are as easy as plugging
the Pocket Computer into the cradle. All the relevant information is
then uploaded and any price, product or customer changes are
downloaded. Up to 10 devices may be connected at any one time.
The equipment
is easily carried and small enough to fit into a pocket or clip to a
belt. The in-vehicle chargers ensure the devices are constantly
charged and ready for use. Operatives no longer need to carry vast
amounts of paperwork or carry information around in their heads. The
amount of time spent at each location is greatly reduced and the end
of day procedures vastly improved. Can you afford not to explore this
further ?
SCENARIO 1
On arrival the vending machine location\identification barcode is
scanned and any items removed are scanned and recorded. New stock is
then scanned into the machine. These steps are repeated for each
vending machine visited. At the end of the day the handheld computer
updates the office systems. The office systems can be run
independently or integrated into the core management systems. In
either case reports may then be generated to establish trends,
profitability etc. The time taken at each location is greatly reduced
and at the same time accuracy is increased.
SCENARIO 2
Items that are delivered sale or return may be recorded in a similar
way to above. If a printer is added delivery/returns notes may also
be printed. Cash/cheque receipts can also be
Generated and printed. The system automatically updates the main
computer systems at the end of the day.
SCENARIO 3
An opening stock figure is obtained for each van by scanning each of
the individual items. As stock is delivered or sold from the van this
is deducted from the opening stock figure. As are returns at the end
of the day for perishable stock not delivered or sold. Once a minimum
stock figure for a particular item has been reached the main computer
system will alert you. You will then be prompted to replenish the
stock to the pre-set levels. At the end of any given period a simple
stock check using the handheld device will allow a stock
reconciliation to be performed.
YOUR SCENARIO
The above scenarios are typical applications, however we appreciate
they may not be specifically suited to the way you operate. They are
meant to show what can be achieved and we will gladly demonstrate the
system working the way you want .
